Matt Davison takes on new role as Associate Athletic Director – Football

Matt Davison accepted a role in the UNL Athletic Department following the hiring of new head football coach, Scott Frost.

He’ll be working closely with the football staff and the administrative staff beginning late 2017, and is excited to help Coach Frost and AD Bill Moos.

In this role, Matt is unable to continue in a full-time capacity with Creating Captains. He’ll be available to continue to speak to schools, communities and businesses, but won’t be holding sports camps or the annual fundraiser.

We’re thrilled for Matt in this new opportunity. If you have questions, or wish to contact Creating Captains, reach out here.

Creating Captains Gears Up for Summer

After an incredibly successful fundraising event in February, we are excited to start camps this summer! CheckĀ out our Sports Camp Schedule for information on locations, and to pre-register for one in your area.

Camps are already scheduled in Sidney, Columbus, and Oakland, with several more currently being planned.

Most camps are $30 per child, non-contact, and are typically 3 hours long.

Need more information? Want to have a Creating Captains Camp in your area? Fill out a form on our Contact Us page.

We’ve also been working with the Food Bank of Lincoln on growing BackPack Programs around Nebraska for the fall. Look for updates to come!
