During the assembly, students and staff were attentive to Mr. Davison's message of staying away from drugs and alcohol, treating others with respect, and putting themselves in a situation that maximizes their potential. Matt relates well with students. His message is clear and to the point. We have had many assemblies over the years but I don't believe any presentation has reached our kids like Matt's Creating Captain's presentation.

I had the pleasure of hearing Matt Davison speak to student/athletes at our athletic banquet. I feel his message appropriately identified the challenges that face youth today. Matt gave examples of how to overcome these challenges. He is extremely professional and a great role model for young people.

Matt Davison recently came to speak to Bancroft Elementary 4th, 5th and 6th grade classrooms, and the children loved him! He addressed issues that were very relevant to them such as; bullying, working hard, becoming leaders and making good decisions. Matts passion and heart for youth was evident in his speech and in the manner he interacted with the children. I believe it will be an experience they will never forget. I would recommend Matt to speak for any elementary or youth organization that would like to hear his beneficial message!

I first met Matt as a junior in High School, watched him grow as an athlete and have now seen him emerge as an ambassador to the University of Nebraska. Creating Captains will be a way for Matt to share his experiences as a student athlete and help guide our younger generation.

This camp was one of the most rewarding things I've been involved with over my 34 years in education. I would recommend this camp to any community who cares about more than a win-loss record and wants to build character and leadership
